Jennifer Kronovet is the author of the poetry collection, AWAYWARD (BOA Editions, 2009). She is the co-founder and co-editor of CIRCUMFERENCE, the journal of poetry in translation. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Colorado Review, Fence, Open City, Ploughshares, A Public Space and elsewhere. She will be reading with Idra Novey, whose first collection of poetry, The Next Country received the 2007 Kinereth Gensler Award from Alice James Books, and was released in 2008. This book received a starred review in Publisher’s Weekly, and was included in Virginia Quarterly Review’s list of Best Poetry Books of 2008. Her poems and prose have appeared in Slate, The Paris Review, A Public Space and The Believer. In 2007, she published a book of her translations of Brazilian poet Paulo Henriques Britto. Novey teaches in the School of the Arts at Columbia University, and in the Bard College Initiative.
