Lauren Chattman is a food writer who has lived in Sag Harbor for 13 years. She is the author of 12 cookbooks (Most recently, Dessert Express from Taunton Press) and the co-author of a half-dozen others (including Dessert University with former White House Pastry Chef Roland Mesnier and Local Breads with artisan baking authority Daniel Leader, which won a 2008 IACP Cookbook Award). Although most of her writing is targeted to a national audience, it is the local scene that inspires her. She started Sag Harbor Days to share the little things she loves about cooking and living in this town. Lauren is pictured here in her kitchen.
